Set on a plantation in the depths of the Amazon, Bride of the Gorilla tells a tale of madness in the wilds. Plantation manager Barney Chavez (Raymond Burr) gets into a fatal fight with his employer, and moves in on the man’s attractive widow. For this he is cursed by an old woman on the plantation and sees himself turning into a gorilla. He struggles to control his primal instincts with little success.
